In all circumstances you will pay for your insurance cover in advance. If you choose to cancel your insurance policy prior to its expiry/renewal Frankie will, but always subject to the terms and conditions of your insurance policy contract, refund you the net insurer premium that relates to the unused period of cover. This means that if you choose to cancel a policy after its commencement we will refund you the days of cover you have paid in advance.
Please note that an administration fee may be incurred to process your refund. Frankie will deduct this charge from the refund amount owing to you. We reserve the right to retain the Frankie fee charged and collected at the time of your policy inception. This will be taken into account when calculating your refund.
We can only accept cancellation requests in writing. You can cancel by sending an email to [email protected] from the email address you with which you registered. You will also need to quote your policy number, the cover type and your state your intention to cancel. We confirm back by email and will endeavour to make the refund to you within 5 working days of receipt of your request.
We reserve the right to make a refund in the same manner and the same currency used to pay for the insurance originally. As we only receive payments by credit card, refunding the amount due to the credit card you used to purchase your insurance is our default method of refund.
